The Blood Parade
During the sixth celebration of the British Triumph in Hastings an assassin only known as Leicester murdered a number of high-ranking vampires in a blood-drenched massacre. The victims include the Sheriff, Jupiter Porcupine and the complete personal guard of the Knias.
The following investigation implicated Ben Beasley to murder Albert Lord of Tallstone with an occult rope disguised as a medal ribbon resembling the one the Knias has given the Lord for his accomplishments during the war. This and the fact that the Knias failed to protect his subjects, subjected him to an in depth interrogation and a rigorous uncovering of all his deeds since his inauguration. The examinations let by chief investigator Archon Ingram Davidson revealed a long list of transgressions and let the authorities no choice but to execute the Knias for treason.
